As a product designer, I work as a freelancer between the Netherlands and France, where I live. I created this jewellery brand to experiment with product and branding and to design something that reflects who I am, with complete creative freedom.
All too often lost in my dreams, I love to seek out and invent stories in everything I see — even in a simple scrap of coloured wood found in my partner workshop.
In contrast to precious stones, which have long been used in the West as symbols of wealth and power by the monarchy and the aristocracy, these pieces of jewellery tell a different story. At that time, gemstones signified a hierarchy in which men, by default, were superior to women. It was a system written from a male perspective, where gemstones were designated as objects of female consumption, reinforcing the idea of feminine beauty as a virtue.
Today, women are still reclaiming control over the rules of their lives and fighting every day to shape them as they wish.
So, with precious stones cast aside, women’s dreams are coming to the fore, lived with eyes wide open, freely deciding what really matters.
This collection was created in Eindhoven, so each piece of jewellery is named after Dutch feminist figures: Clara Meijers, Wilhelmina Druker and Ellin Robles.
blending softness and impact in visuals for branding,
product design, and artistic expression.
